Toyota Announces Plan to Fix Accelerator Pedals

Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A., Inc. announced Feb. 1, 2010 that repairs will begin this week to reinforce the accelerator pedals on previously recalled vehicles.  The repair is designed to eliminate excess friction that Toyota believes caused accelerator pedals to stick in some instances.
